What do you love most about your job?

I love that I get to cook every day. Cooking has always been a passion of mine. I also love that I get to be creative with the food I make.

What makes your job fun, fresh, or engaging each day?

Every day is different. I’m not making the same thing all the time. I also love to hear the kids’ excitement over something I made. 

Favorite memory of your early childhood:

When I was a little girl I would take my mother’s old pie tins and make mud pies with them. I tried to make them fancy by putting ivy leaves on them. I guess I was born for this job.

Fun facts:

I have been cooking meals by myself since I was 9 years old.

I was in choir for 13 1/2 years. We did a lot of competitions and even won state in high school.
