Ages 6 Weeks t0 3 Years Old
Our Infant and Wobbler Program has a waitlist at all times of year, and waitlist length fluctuates. To pursue enrollment in this age group, you must first register for the waitlist.
Our Infant Room, which serves students ages 6 weeks to 18 months old, offers students freedom to play in a clean, safe, and stimulating environment with toys appropriate to their ages. Students are assigned to a primary caregiver who becomes familiar with their students’ needs, schedules, and unique personalities. We encourage development of large motor skills by allowing as much floor time as possible, and students have the opportunity to play outside in our infant and toddler play area as often as weather allows. To develop verbal skills, we read stories and talk to students throughout the day. As students broaden their diet and begin to eat solid foods, they are welcome to begin eating the meals provided by our school cook, the cost of which is included in tuition.
When students transition to the Wobbler Room, which serves students 18 months to 3 years old, they enter a more structured environment that includes group activities, such as snack time, art time, story time, and nap time. There is also plenty of play time, both inside the classroom and outside in our Infant and Toddler play area. Toys and play equipment are selected to encourage students to develop gross motor skills, fine motor skills, verbal skills, social skills, and imagination. Students are also encouraged to develop an increasing level independence through self care, self feeding, and toilet training while still being nurtured and cared for in a loving, safe environment.
This is a full day, year-round program, with both part time and full time options, and enrollment is based on availability. Students are welcome to begin at any time space is available.
